Physiotherapy for eligible Canada refugee patients under Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)

Interim Federal Health Program

Pro Fusion Rehab is pleased to announce that we can now provide physiotherapy service to eligible refugee patients in Canada under the government’s Interim Federal Health Program(IFHP). The IFHP provides limited, temporary coverage of health-care benefits to resettled refugee claimants who are not eligible for provincial or territorial health insurance.

The IFHP provides health-care coverage for all eligible refugees, including physiotherapy, vision, urgent dental care, and prescription drugs, similar to the coverage received by Canadians receiving social assistance. The IFHP is designed to improve the health outcomes of refugees, protect public health for all Canadians and reduce the administrative duties of health-care professionals.

All physiotherapists in Pro Fusion Rehab are registered and licensed IFHP health providers under the Medavie Blue Cross. Our clinics are fully equipped with various modalities to effectively treat your patients, and keep you up to date on the patients’ condition with detailed progress reports.
