Motor Vehicle Accident Benefits

1. Notify Your Auto Insurer (Within 7 Days) Report the accident to your insurance company. They will open a claim, assign an adjuster, and give you a Claim Number.

2. Book an Assessment Schedule an assessment at our Pickering or Milton clinic immediately. Our physiotherapists will assess your injuries and map out your treatment plan.

3. Submit the OCF-1 Form (Within 30 Days) Complete the Application for Accident Benefits (OCF-1) provided by your insurer. You must submit this to activate your coverage.

4. Use Extended Health Benefits (EHB) First By Insurance Act in Ontario, if you have workplace health benefits, you must use them before your auto insurance kicks in. Our team will coordinate this billing for you.

5. Let Us Handle the Medical Forms We take care of the complex paperwork. We will submit your required Treatment Forms (OCF-18 for severe injuries or OCF-23 for minor injuries) directly to your adjuster.

6. Focus on Healing Once the paperwork is filed, we direct-bill your insurance company through the secure HCAI system, ensuring your recovery is completely stress-free.
